Title: The Teddy-bears Letterbox Picnic
Inspired by the song Teddy-bears Picnic (I know Bing Crosby did a version)
Planted by: Irishtinker
On July 25, 2002
Time: Under an hour

Proceed to the main entrance of the Natchaug Forest which has a brown wooden sign and is on the east side of route 198 in Eastford, 5 miles from the intersection of routes 198 and 6 in Chaplin and 3 miles south of route 44 and 198 intersection. Go over the bridge. Start up the winding hill. There is a pull off to the RIGHT that 3 or 4 cars can park at. The trail is right in front of the parking spots.  (It is the first pull off after the bridge but up the hill a little)

TEDDY-BEAR'S LETTERBOX PICNIC

If you go out in the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise
If you go out in the woods today
You'd better go in disguise
For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day
The teddy bears are Letterboxing

Every teddy bear, that's been good
Is sure of a treat today
There's lots of wonderful letterboxes to find
And wonderful games to play
Beneath the trees, where nobody sees
Behind rocks & in stumps are the keys
Todays the day
The teddy bears are letterboxing

If you go out in the woods today
Follow the path to the Y
It's lovely out in the woods today
Go to the Right it isn't hard if you try
Over the fallen spiky tree
To the river the color of ice tea
Today's the day
The teddy bears are letterboxing

Tramp left to the babbling brook
Spy the bridge above
Cross a bridge not once or twice but thrice
There's beautiful scenery just a take a look
Creep now ...as quiet as mice
Look to your left a stonewall

Especially in the one that is extra small

Today's the day the teddy bears are letterboxing!!!!!!
